Synopsis

Ko Chun is an orphan taken in and trained by Kent, a sharp-eyed card cheat who molds him as a protégé. The night before a major Chinese poker tournament, Kent turns on him — the student has clearly overtaken the teacher, and betrayal is cleaner than losing publicly. Ko Chun's circle — Anita Yuen, Jordan Chan, Gigi Leung, and Francis Ng — refuses to walk away and helps him plan his comeback.
