Synopsis
The Unlikely Prince (Il principe abusivo, 2013) is an Italian comedy you can watch online on iFILM. The princess of a tiny European principality is starved for headlines: while she cuts ribbons at veterinary clinics, her father rules from behind a laptop full of internet smut, and reporters yawn. So she manufactures a scandal of her own.
On the butler's advice, she picks the laziest slacker in the realm — a small-time goofball named Antonio — and stages a whirlwind romance for the cameras. Strolls, candlelit dinners, tipped-off paparazzi. The press eats it up and a royal wedding is announced. Trouble is, Antonio turns out to be far sharper than the loser he was hired to play.
