Khor (2023) is a Russian family drama series you can watch online on iFILM. The Soviet Union, 1972. A twelve-year-old from the Moscow suburbs hears a Robertino Loretti record and quietly decides he wants to sing — a fact he keeps from his friends, who consider it embarrassing.

His music teacher Varvara spots the voice and takes him on. One month remains before the choir audition and, beyond it, a national TV song festival. Sergei Golomazov and Ekaterina Durova bring weight to a show that wears its period setting lightly — the 1970s backdrop is a frame, not the point. The real story is about who gives a child permission to want something, and what changes when someone finally does.
