Synopsis
Odnazhdy v Abkhazii (2023) is a Russian comedy you can watch online on iFILM. Teymuraz works for the local emergency service, crams under one roof with his parents, wife and mother-in-law, and hands over every spare coin to settle debts left behind by his dead brother. Life keeps looping in place — until the authorities cook up a nasty plan.
The republic's officials decide to turn an abandoned mine into a dump for radioactive waste. The catch: that very mine is where Teymuraz's grandfather died years ago, and he simply can't sit still for it. So an ordinary rescue worker does the last thing anyone expected — he runs for president of the republic to set things right. A little man against a big machine, Abkhazian flavor and family chaos rolled into one. Teymuraz Taniya and Lev Malishava take the leads.
