Frankenstein and the Monster from Hell
Your blood will run cold when the monster rises!
Synopsis
Frankenstein and the Monster from Hell (1974) is Hammer's final Frankenstein picture, and horror fans can watch online on iFILM. The Baron is back at the operating table — this time inside a lunatic asylum.
Young Dr Simon Helder is locked up for dabbling in Frankenstein's own line of work, only to discover the asylum's director is the Baron himself, living under a false name. Peter Cushing plays him cold and utterly fixated: with Helder's help he's stitching a creature together from the inmates' organs, and he'll commit murder to harvest the right parts. David Prowse — later the body of Darth Vader — lumbers around under the monster makeup.
This was the last entry in Hammer's Frankenstein cycle and the final film from director Terence Fisher, with Cushing returning as the Baron for the sixth time. It's all practical gore, fog and studio-bound gothic — a film for people who prefer slow dread to jump scares. Stream Frankenstein and the Monster from Hell (1974) online on iFILM.
