Frankenstein Created Woman
Now Frankenstein has created a beautiful woman with the soul of the Devil!
Synopsis
Frankenstein Created Woman (1967) is a British horror you can watch online on iFILM. Made by Hammer and directed by Terence Fisher, it brings back Peter Cushing as Baron Frankenstein. This time the baron isn't stitching bodies together — he's chasing something stranger: the transfer of a human soul.
Young Hans goes to the guillotine for a murder he didn't commit. His sweetheart Christina, broken by grief, drowns herself. Frankenstein ends up with both bodies and runs his experiment, anchoring the executed boy's soul inside the revived girl (Susan Denberg). Christina comes back beautiful and cold, with one purpose. One by one, the men who framed Hans and drove her to the water start to die.
This is an unusual Hammer entry — fewer monsters and prosthetics, more quiet dread about possession and guilt. Cushing, as ever, plays the baron unnervingly calm. It's regarded as one of the studio's finest gothic films, and it suits anyone who loves old-school horror built on atmosphere rather than gore.
