Crossing Over

Crossing Over (2009) is an American crime drama written and directed by Wayne Kramer — watch online on iFILM. Los Angeles: on any given day dozens of people are trying to get legal, or stay invisible, or trade something they shouldn't. The film follows several of them, none of whom know each other yet.

An ICE agent played by Harrison Ford chases a Mexican day labourer while quietly questioning the work he's spent his career doing. A cop (Ray Liotta) offers residency paperwork in exchange for something personal. An Iranian student argues her right to interpret 9/11 in class and watches her words get weaponised. An Australian musician discovers the price of a green card. Mahershala Ali, in an early role, plays a man trying to bring his family across legally — which turns out to be the hardest route of all.
