Why Don't You Play in Hell? (地獄でなぜ悪い, 2013) is a Japanese action comedy you can watch online on iFILM, directed by Sion Sono. A ragtag group of young filmmakers calling themselves the Fuck Bombers have spent a decade hunting the perfect shot. They're about to find it inside an actual yakuza war.

One crime boss needs to shoot a film starring his daughter before the police arrive. A rival faction is moving to finish the feud on their own terms. The Fuck Bombers spot an opening, and the finale collapses all three storylines into a single blood-soaked take — a real sword fight staged as a movie production. Jun Kunimura, familiar from Kill Bill, anchors the yakuza side; the younger cast keep the comedy teetering at the edge of farce.

Sono premiered the film at Venice 2013. It's grindhouse cinema that knows exactly what it is: the violence is extreme and purposeful, the 1970s genre references are worn openly, and underneath the carnage there's a genuine affection for filmmaking against impossible odds.
