The Forest of Love (愛なき森で叫べ, 2019) is a Japanese crime thriller directed by Sion Sono that you can watch online on iFILM. Clocking in at 151 minutes, the film follows a silver-tongued con man who inserts himself into the lives of two grief-scarred women through a group of would-be filmmakers.

Sono — the director behind Love Exposure and Why Don't You Play in Hell? — builds a slow suffocation: manipulation, coercion and escalating violence constructed with the cold patience of a predator. The women's suppressed trauma becomes the raw material the con man works with. No resolution is offered, and none is intended.
