Infiltration

Infiltration (2022) is a Russian war action film you can watch online on iFILM. Ivan came home from the front a long time ago, but the war never let go of him. He keeps reliving it, losing pieces of himself, and it has already cost him his marriage — now it may cost him far more.

The trigger is a capture: his former commander, known as Grey, falls into the hands of militants in Syria. Ivan heads in under a false identity, posing as a foreign war correspondent named John, determined to drag his old comrade out. From there it turns into a lethal sprint across the desert — U.S. patrols, terrorists on his trail, and a border he has to live long enough to reach. Alexey Chadov stars and directs, alongside Kristina Asmus, Viktor Sukhorukov, Artyom Tkachenko and Vitaly Kishchenko.

Under the combat shell sits a portrait of a man who can't function in peacetime and returns to war because that's the only place he understands himself.
