Synopsis
Love Life Light (照明商店, 2023) is a Chinese mystery drama you can watch online on iFILM. At the dead end of a back alley, a lighting shop glows all year round, its quiet owner wiping down every single bulb with strange care.
A nurse named Xu Nian and her boyfriend move into an apartment nearby. The longer she watches the neighbors, the clearer it becomes — each one carries a secret they can't say out loud. One stormy night she steps into the little shop at the end of the alley, and the lamps begin to coax those buried answers into view. Director Cai Jing keeps the film balanced between fantasy and detective story, in no rush to show his hand. Zhang Ruonan leads.
