Synopsis
Le Torrent (2022) is a French psychological thriller you can watch online on iFILM. Alexandre comes home to the discovery that his young wife Juliette has been cheating. That night she runs during their fight — and by morning a mountain torrent has carried her body away.
The police open an investigation. Juliette's father Patrick arrives and starts asking quiet, pointed questions. To hold his version of events together, Alexandre draws his 18-year-old daughter Lison from his first marriage into the lie. Each new cover story requires another. José Garcia maps the calculation and fear behind Alexandre's eyes with uncomfortable precision; André Dussollier as Patrick makes every shared scene feel like a slowly tightening grip.
