Synopsis
Vremya Vernutsya (Time to Return, 2024) — watch online on iFILM, a Belarusian war drama from director Ivan Pavlov. June 1944, the forests outside Orsha. A partisan unit led by Ivan Raikov heads out on reconnaissance — routine until it isn't.
A German Jagdkommando is operating in the same woods. These were specialized units built to hunt down partisan cells, and they were good at it. Andrei Senkin, Alexei Takharov, and Maxim Filatov play the fighters who run into them. The film sits in the weeks just before Operation Bagration, the Soviet offensive that would push German forces out of Belarus that summer.
