Synopsis
AC/DC: Live At Donington (1992) is a concert film you can watch online on iFILM. On 17 August 1991 the Australian rockers headlined Britain's Monsters of Rock festival at Castle Donington for the third time, tearing through a two-hour set in front of a crowd more than a hundred thousand strong.
The recording catches the whole show — from Thunderstruck and Back in Black to Whole Lotta Rosie with its giant inflatable doll, capped by a cannon-blasting T.N.T. Angus Young sprints across the stage in his schoolboy uniform, Brian Johnson works the crowd, and Malcolm Young, Cliff Williams and drummer Chris Slade lock down the groove. The famous Hells Bell swings overhead.
Director David Mallet shot the gig on 26 cameras, so the footage moves from tight close-ups of fingers on the fretboard to wide sweeps over a sea of fans. It's one of the band's definitive live releases and pure adrenaline for anyone who loves classic hard rock with no studio polish. Stream AC/DC: Live At Donington (1992) online on iFILM.
