Synopsis
Time Out of Mind (2015) is a quiet drama from director Oren Moverman that you can watch online on iFILM. Richard Gere plays George, an aging man who suddenly finds himself on the streets of New York with no home, no papers and nowhere to turn.
The film follows him through shelters, welfare lines and cold benches as he tries to piece his life back together and reach the grown daughter he walked out on years ago. Moverman keeps the camera at a distance — shooting George through glass, traffic and crowds — so the city's indifference becomes something you feel rather than hear about. Ben Vereen, Jena Malone and Steve Buscemi fill out the margins. It's slow, plotless by design, and refuses both sentimentality and easy rescue.
