Quigley Down Under

Quigley Down Under (1990) is a western directed by Simon Wincer — watch it online on iFILM. Tom Selleck plays Matt Quigley, an American long-range shooter who answers an ad from Australian landowner Elliott Marston, travels halfway around the world, and immediately discovers the job is not what was advertised. Alan Rickman plays Marston.

Marston wants the Aborigines on his land dead. Quigley declines, takes a beating for it, and gets left in the outback to die. That plan falls apart quickly. What follows is a pursuit across some of the harshest landscape in Australian cinema history, with Quigley picking off Marston's men at distances his enemies assume are impossible, and Laura San Giacomo's Crazy Cora complicating the whole thing in the best way.
