Burnt by the Sun 2: Exodus (2010) is a Russian WWII epic directed by Nikita Mikhalkov — watch online on iFILM. It continues from the 1994 original that claimed the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film, throwing its survivors into the full devastation of the Eastern Front.

Kotov (Mikhalkov), presumed shot after Stalin's purges, surfaces alive in a penal battalion — stripped of rank, fighting with nothing left to prove. His daughter Nadia, now a field nurse, moves through the same war from the other end. Mitya (Oleg Menshikov) crosses paths with Kotov again, the odds stacked heavily against his old adversary. Evgeny Mironov and Sergei Garmash fill out a cast packed with recognizable faces, each scene carrying its own weight.
