Synopsis

Bedazzled (1967) is a British fantasy comedy you can watch online on iFILM, directed by Stanley Donen and built around the on-screen chemistry of Peter Cook and Dudley Moore.

Stanley Moon, a lovelorn short-order cook, agrees to trade his soul for seven wishes — each guaranteed to win him the waitress of his dreams. His supplier is George Spiggott, a well-dressed Devil with all the warmth of a tax audit. Every wish twists in the most logical, ruinous way imaginable. Raquel Welch turns up as one of the seven deadly sins, and the film wrings laughs from theology the way only late-'60s British satire could.

Peter Cook's Satan is the real draw: coolly malevolent, full of petty rules and bureaucratic spite. It's a comedy about the failure of wishful thinking dressed up as a deal with the devil — and it still lands. Stream Bedazzled (1967) online on iFILM.
